Buds - Stew's June Page

For Stew's June Page, I used the December sketch from My Creative Sketches.  Such a nice sketch.

I used a random photo of Willie and Tessa I had taken during the year for this page.  I love the way Tessa looks in the background of the photo.

Thanks for looking.

My July Calendar Page

Last night I was able to start my calendar.  For my first page I used the Week 1 January Challenge at Let's Get Sketchy.  This was a beautiful sketch.

For this page, I have photos of Harley and Tessa playing together.  Harley loves to tease Tessa, and will keep the toy she wants for himself.

I am also entering this page in the this week's Flutterby Wednesday challenge, which is an Open Challenge.  You just have to include a fairy or butterfly on your project.

I also entered the page in the monthly challenges at Scrappin'-n-Chattin' - Torn Paper Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope to get many more of my pages done this week.

Stew's December Page

I haven't blogged all of the Stew's calendar pages yet, but his calendar is DONE!!  I want to share the December page I created last night.

I used the January 4th sketch from Boys Rule for this page.  The sketch had a bit of a different feel from some of their other sketches, but I loved it.

I moved the photos around just a bit to go with the photos I had for this page.  I really love posing the dogs. We're going to have a house full of props by the time I get bored with it.

I also used this page as my Week 3 entry into the Scrappin'-n-Chattin' 52 Week Challenge.  Thanks for looking.

The Hat - Stew's May Page

For my last page of 2012 for the 52 Week Challenge at Scrappin'-n-Chattin', I used the December 7th sketch from Boys Rule.  I love sketches with banners and pennants and this was a fun one to use.

When creating our calendars, when one of the dogs has a birthday, I make sure they are the subject themselves for that month.  Tessa's birthday is in May.  The photo I used is one that I took of Tessa wearing one of Stew's hat that she chewed up for the 2nd time.  She gave him 2 new ones for Christmas.

Thanks for stopping by.

Smile - Stew's November Page

Earlier this month I created Stew's November page.  I used the December 21st sketch at Boys Rule.  I so love the Boys Rule sketches and will be trying hard to use as many of them this year as I can.

Stew and I both love this photo of Willie.  I had just given him a large hedgehog I got for him during a trip to a dog show without the dogs.  He LOVES hedgehogs and this photo shows him really smiling.

If you've read my blog before you know that I have joined the 52 Week Challenge 2 years in a row at the Yahoo Group Scrappin'-n-Chattin'.  I actually went the whole 2 years without using a pass, creating a page a week for 104 weeks in a row.  For 2012, I actually was chosen the winner of the contest and won a $210 prize.  I am joining the challenge again this year.  I used this page for my Week 1 page for 2013.  Thanks for looking.

Birthday Boy - Stew's January Page

I am really pushing myself to get our calendars done.  I really thought I had my act together in December and was going to have my 3 calendars ready for the beginning of the year.  But alas, it didn't happen.  So I am determined to get them done asap.

For Stew's January page I used this month's sketch from Artful Delight.  I have missed making pages with the Artful Delight sketches.

And here's the page.....

I am also entering this page into the monthly challenges at Scrappin'-n-Chattin', in the Anything Goes category.

Thanks for looking.  Please stop back by....  There's a lot more to come.

1st Q - Stew's March Page

I was able to get several pages for Stew's calendar done during the week.  At first I was jumping around, doing whatever months seemed to work well with certain challenges.  But in order to feel like I was accomplishing something, I printed several sketches and made note of a number of challenges and started working in order.  That seemed to work much better for me.

For Stew's March page I used this month's sketch for the Authentique Sketch Challenge.  I really like this sketch and in December I got a bunch of Authentique paper on sale, so I am going to use this sketch once in each calendar.

Harley was in his first agility trial in March, so I used a photo of him with his 1st Qualifying and 1st Place ribbons.  I really liked using the stars for the banner across the bottom of the page.  I used several papers from Authentique's Glory collection - Honor, United and Liberty papers.

I am also entering a couple of other challenges with this page:

Thanks so much for stopping by.

The Boy - Stew's February Page

This week and I really trying hard to complete Stew's calendar.  I have gotten a good number of his pages done, so this goal may actually get met.

To create his February page, I used the current sketch for the DCWV Stackaholic Challenge.  I really love this challenge.  The sketches are always wonderful.

I used the Doodlin' Around Stack from DCWV for this page.

I am also entering this page into the following challenges:
Scrap It Girl - "Bling, Glitter, Shine & Sparkles" - I used gem bling flourishes and swirls on both sides of the page.

Relax - Stew's April Page

I have been pretty busy trying to get our calendars completed.  For 2012, it was March before I was done.  That can't happen again.  I am very close to finishing Stew's.  I want to share his April page now.  For this page I used Sketches in Thyme Sketch #98 for this one.

I also followed the current challenge at Frosted Designs.  The challenge is a recipe challenge, where you choose 4 items from the list:

rubons
transparency
brads
eyelets
misting/masking
punches
stamping
stickers

Here is the page....

My recipe items are:
Transparency - The flowered paper on the right side of the photo is a transparency
Brads - In the centers of the little flowers on the lower left side of the page
Punches - Punched flowers and circle.
Stickers - Sticker letters for the title.

I am also entering this page into our monthly challenges at Scrappin'-n-Chattin', the Summer challenge.

Thanks so much for looking.  Please stop back by to see more pages.  There are going to be a lot of posts in the next week or so....
