Christmas Card Challenge - Day 7

Well, I made it a week.  I almost forgot about my card today.  I went to a new training facility and was pretty excited about it, so I wasn't thinking clearly.  But I came to my senses quickly once returning home.

The prompt today at Scrappin'-n-Chattin' is Tree.  Pretty simple for a Christmas card challenge.  I have a bunch of papers and embellishments with Christmas trees.  But I wanted to use a digital image.  So I checked what I had, and I did have one of a tree.  I love this little tree from Doodle Pantry, which is part of the Christmas Birdie collection.

Christmas Card Challenge - Day 6

Today is Day 6 of the Christmas Card Challenge at Scrappin'-n-Chattin'.  Today's prompt was Non Christmas Colors - No red or green.  This was a real challenge for me.

I used this week's sketch from Seems A Little Sketchy.  I love their sketches.  They are always so versatile.

I am also entering my card into the new challenge at Whoopsiedaisy Challenge which is to use die cuts or punches.  I use a border punch to create 3 layers of paper.

Christmas Card Challenge - Day 5

Another busy day today.  At least most of the house is clean.  I'm going to have to take some time off this week so I can play some more.

I want to share my 5th card for the daily Christmas card challenge at Scrappin'-n-Chattin'.  For this card I also used a sketch.  The sketch I chose is this week's sketch from Card Positioning System.  It was the perfect sketch for the card I had in mind.

I was excited to use my Cricut tonight for this card.  The prompt at SnC was gifts.  So I looked up what cartridges had presents on them.  To my luck Birthday Bash did.  I think this may be the first time I used it, possibly the second.

Christmas Card Challenge - Day 4

Today is Day 4 of the month-long challenge at Scrappin'-n-Chattin' to create a Christmas card a day.  I got a very late start on my card today, but I did get it done.

The prompt for today's card was to include an ornament and use a border punch.  I used the current sketch at Sketch N Stash to this card.

I used an adorable image from Squigglefly, Shy Bears, Ornament Bear.

Christmas Card Challenge - Day 3

Happy Friday everyone.  My week has not been too bad.  I got a lot done and without any real issues.  It was a pretty good week.

I want to share my Day 3 card.  The prompt today at Scrappin'-n-Chattin' is Anything Goes.  To create my card, I used this week's sketch at Seems A Little Sketchy.  It's been a while since I created cards, and I have really missed using these sketches.

I have really missed participating in the challenges at Christmas Card Challenges.  I am entering this card there in their current challenge which is No Stamping.  The sentiment on the card is a part of the Echo Park paper collection.  I love the lights at the bottom of the area and am so glad that I also had the coordinating paper.

Christmas Card Challenge - Day 2

I made it through Day 2!!!  It's a been a busy day and I still have to groom my Willie.

For today's card I used the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  I really loved this sketch and was very excited to use it.

The prompt for today's card at Scrappin'-n-Chattin' was to have have a reindeer on the card.  I used a digital image from  Whimsy Stamps.  The sentiment is also from Whimsy Stamps.

I am also entering this card into the 1-2-3 Challenge at Card  Makin Mamas.  The recipe is to use 1 image, 2 designer papers and 3 embellishments.  My 3 embellishments are all pearls, but used differently (string of blue pearls along the side, 3 in upper corner of the image and 1 on the holly on the deer's neck).

Christmas Card Challenge - Day 1

I have decided to try to participate in the 30 Day Christmas Card Challenge at Scrappin'-n-Chattin'.  It will definitely be a challenge, but I really want to try.

The prompt for the 1st day was to include blue, red and white.  Pretty easy.  I really didn't have much time tonight, so my card is very simple.  But I was able to get one done.
